The Revueflex, found in a really dusty antique shop in Hauz Khas Village one day when I was waiting for Jessa. It smelled like every kind of mold in existence, so I’ve had to clean it multiple times. Managed to find instructions online (http://www.butkus.org/chinon/chinon/cm-1/cm-1.htm) - the camera seems to be a Chinon CM-1 (Japanese) that was relabeled when a German company started selling this model.
Part of the beauty is that no one will ever be able to tell me how it got into the hands of an old collector in a basement shop in New Delhi and what kind of images someone else once saw through the dusty viewfinder.
Back in Boston! So wonderful to be home. I still have lots of India pictures to post, but wanted to confirm that I’m back stateside so I don’t confuse anyone. Mehraj and I went to see Chihuly at the MFA (pictures below) ~ super cool.
General admission and exhibit tickets are free for Harvard, Brandeis, and a few other local colleges, so GOgoGOgo if you haven’t already!
